Dr. Ahmses Maat, earn several healing degrees: respiratory therapist, certified cardiovascular perfusionist and doctorate as a metaphysician.  He was initiated into his martial arts training in 1971, at age 11 with 9th degree Golden Dragon, Guru Willie J.C. Wetzel and family.  An exceptional teacher, Ahmses taught Pentjak Silat - Poekoelan Tjimindie to help pay tuition for college.   The military branch called the F.O.I. of the Nation of Islam recruited Ahmses and received the best executive protection training.

Delving into various forms of martial and cultural research Kemet (Ancient Egypt), was deeply investigated with onsite study, thus living in the spirit of Montu the Ntr (God) of Warfare became his strong foundation .  His coaching and gold medals in the 2004 World Games in Athens Greece, later induction into the US Martial Arts Hall of Fame  and co-producer of the movie "Essence of the Martial Arts" are a part of his success.  

Beside ongoing training with multiple martial arts masters for his own personal development, Dr. Maat currently teaches various workshops ranging from urban defense to Kemetic healing and warrior studies.  He also serves as program developer for Montu University of Afrakan Defense online schools.
